Supplies: Clear glass vase, rubber bands, frost spray paint
Time: 15 minutes plus drying time
Not too long ago my dad made a bunch of frosted glass solar powered lights for my parents’ back yard. I’ve recently seen a few pictures of frosted glass vases online and since I knew my dad still had some frosted spray paint in the garage I decided to make a simple painted vase.
Wrap rubber bands in some kind of cool pattern around a clear glass vase.
Spray paint the vase with frost spray paint. Preferably you’ll be doing this during the day at above freezing temperatures, but cold nights will work.
Let the paint dry thoroughly and take the rubber bands off. You’ll be left with a nice striped vase!
Fill your new vase with flowers and enjoy!
Happy long weekend (if you have one)!
